On February 16, 2024, Zambeze, a Mozambican roots reggae singer, songwriter, and musician based in Spain, released his first solo 7″ single titled This The Night. The song, produced and mixed by Roberto Sánchez and Zambeze himself, was released on a new sub label called Mozambique under A Lone Productions. Just three months later, Zambeze’s full-length album Portrait Of A Roots Man has been unveiled, featuring 9 tracks of deep conscious lyrics set to raw roots reggae riddims played by the Lone Ark Riddim Force. This Portrait Of A Roots Man LP in particular aims at providing roots reggae enthusiasts with listening pleasure.
