Winston Francis in the studio
NEW VIDEO
Jamaican-born UK-based 80-year-old reggae singer Winston Francis is currently in the studio to record his second full-length album for producer Roy Cousins’ Tamoki-Wambesi label. His first album with the producer was 1983 released Just Once. Here’s a video that captures the veteran singing Rain From The Skies live in the studio. The song, written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and initially released in 1963 by American singer Adam Wade, has been covered by many Jamaican artists including Delroy Wilson, Horace Andy, and Dennis Brown.
