On Friday, January 31, 2025, Vybz Kartel releases the Viking (10th Year Anniversary) album, exclusively in digital format through Adidjahiem Records/TJ Records.

This special deluxe edition includes four tracks from his 2015 Viking (Vybz Is King) album paired with seven fresh songs. Featured from the original album are Unstoppable, Enchanting, Gon’ Get Better (which has been sampled by the pop group Fifth Harmony), and Dancehall (retitled Dancehall Cyah Stall).

New additions include God Is The Greatest, a tribute to the Almighty, alongside Polite and the upbeat party track Str8 Vybz. The album also features #AmOut and It A Tape, highlighting Kartel’s clever wordplay, the heartfelt love song Dreams Are Made Of, and a collaboration with Ishawna called Porn Flick. All new tracks were recorded following Kartel’s release from prison.

Regarding his new release, Vybz Kartel states, “This album is special because we are celebrating many milestones. We are recognizing the impact of the Viking album 10 years later, and then my ability to create new music for the first time since I have been out. Plus it’s with my day one producer TJ Records and engineers Ricard “RedBoom” Reid and Dominic “Troublemekka” McDonald. It’s a full circle moment, and like I said on the first track ‘God Is The Greatest’.”
