Earlier this year, the Finnish independent record label Dub & Sound International released a 3-track 12″ vinyl featuring three distinct versions of Digging The Vibes, a collaboration between renowned Jamaican trombone player Vin Gordon, also known as Don D Junior, and the Dubsetters. A few months later, their initial project is followed by a similar release: a 12″ single showcasing three versions of a fresh track titled Get On The Groove. The A-side presents the original version of Get On The Groove, where Vin Gordon’s smooth trombone melodies flow over the bass-heavy Dubsetters riddim. On the flip side, the first track, Groove Dub, is enriched with rich echo and reverb effects. The second track, Groove 78 Style, infuses a more percussive, dynamic flair, featuring splashes of sound and clever studio effects. This release is available in a limited edition 12″ vinyl, as well as on download and streaming platforms.
