On the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, Austrian producer Tom Hype encountered reggae artist Aborijah in a meeting that sparked the creation of the Tuanis Riddim. The word “Tuanis” is a local term in Costa Rica that signifies cool, nice, or excellent. This riddim driven selection blends the vibrant sounds of Costa Rica with international influences, presenting upbeat roots reggae enhanced by Costa Rican and reggaeton styles. The album includes the instrumental version alongside seven vocal tracks by Jamaican vocalists Anthony B and General Degree, along with Costa Rican talents Toledo and Aborijah, along with Kemla, Real McKoy, and the Swedish artist Million Stylez.
