In June of 2015, Fruits Records released a 12″ single that showcased a revamped version of a powerful rub-a-dub riddim performed by Swiss reggae band Najavibes. The record contained three vocal tracks and a dub version, with The Viceroys’ Trod On and Lone Ranger’s Trod Along featured on the A-side. These two songs have now been ingeniously fused together to generate a fresh and powerful lyrical force. Trod On Remix serves as a poignant reminder for all those advocating for equal rights and justice to persist in their efforts, regardless of the resistance or consequences they may face.
