Every so often, one stumbles upon a release from a rather unknown artist or group that genuinely exceeds one’s expectations. This is precisely what occurred with the album Melody Babylon. This project is the product of a collaboration between the reggae vocal harmony duo The Tribulizations from Brighton and acclaimed Spanish producer Victor Gallardo, known as Sinky Beatz. The album presents authentic reggae, with tracks that showcase Frankie Dread and Tara Gold’s deep roots in the genre and their dedication to exploring personal and societal issues through their music. Original songs such as Freedom Fighter, Fade Away, and One Step Forward exemplify this commitment. Originally released on all major streaming and download platforms, the album is now also available in vinyl format.
