The Bug is back! A quarter-century after Madhouse Records, one of the most iconic dancehall music labels of the 1990s, unveiled the famous Bug Riddim, producer Dave “Rudeboy” Kelly has launched a massive 42-track Deluxe Edition on digital download and streaming platforms.

Upon its original release in 1999, the riddim stood out as a unique sound in the dancehall scene. It features an entrancingly dark synth in the chorus, paired with a high-pitched, rapidly picked guitar line. It boasted an impressive line-up with artists such as Baby Cham, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Frisco Kid, Spragga Benz, Chico, Mr. Easy, Frankie Sly, and Wayne Wonder. The riddim produced international hits like Another Level and Look by Baby Cham and Bounty Killer. All these artists make a return on the 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of this dark and deep sounding dancehall riddim. Here, multiple versions of a track are offered, with counts ranging between two and four.
