Spanish Town-based reggae artiste Profit Revelation, who has been promoting peace for over a decade, will be using his talent to promote the importance of Technology.

“We are living in an age of technology. The entire world is changing and we have to be prepared for this revolution. Students must be able to manipulate computers, as much as they do with their phones.

“We are using technology in schools to make education more interesting to students. In fact, many of the topics are accessible via the internet. Students should therefore be more knowledgeable than they were ten or more years ago.”

“I came up with the concept of the song ‘Technology Time’ six months ago. A lady called from an institution requesting that I need to set up my account online.”

“I was not enthused at first, but later when she discussed the importance of Technology, I thought about it and began writing the song, some of the lines being:
The world is changing
We got to be prepared for these changes
We living in Technology Time
One time clothes alone we use to
Heng pon line
Nowadays everything is online
You can buy and sell online…”

“It (the song) was recorded last December 2023 at Yardback Recording Studio on the Trying Youth Production label. A music video is in the making.”

“I would love Corporate Jamaica, especially telecommunication giants endorse this song.”

Among Profit Revelation’s list of songs are ‘Cheaters’, ‘Madda Bang Yu Belly’, ‘Gun Dawg’ and ‘Eat What You Grow’.
