Gail, a rising voice out of St. Elizabeth, has released her ExPressions EP with Unit X Productions and it’s a clean, heartfelt piece of work.

Like plenty of Jamaican singers, church was her first stage. That’s where she found her voice early and built that strong vocal control you hear today. She later stepped out as lead singer for the reggae band Cure of Souls, then switched things up with the alternative rock group Citizen of Nowhere.

She first recorded music in 2018, but things really started moving in 2020 with the official release of her debut single In Time. Then came Metazen with Unit X Productions, and that’s where the idea for a full EP really took shape.

ExPressions runs six tracks deep, and it carries a smooth blend of reggae, lovers rock, and modern island vibes. It’s personal without trying too hard. Gail sings about love, reflection, and real emotions in a way that feels genuine.

You’ll find Metazen on there, along with the heartfelt Gone With The Rain, the sweet Love N Hip Hop, and the uplifting The Climb. She also puts her own touch on Someone Loves You Honey, paying respect to June Lodge while making it feel fresh again.

This EP is a solid step forward, and honestly, it sounds like Gail is just getting started.
