Protoje feat. Damian "Jr Gong" Marley - At We Feet

NEW RELEASE

Fruits Records have dropped their first two 7-inch releases of 2026, available on vinyl and digital. Earl Sixteen’s My Son leads the charge, backed by a deep, weighty stepper riddim from The 18th Parallel, with guest pianist and composer Jojo Gladstone on piano duties. Earl sounds incredible here. His voice feels younger than ever, full of strength and feeling. This is roots reggae done properly, from a Jamaican reggae veteran who’s still very much in form.

Then there’s More Work To Be Done by Young Kulcha, marking his first appearance on the Fruits Records label. The tune drops you straight into a Jamaican dance around the early 1980s, the kind of session where Roots Radics on the riddim and Scientist at the controls would’ve had the whole area shaking. It’s heavy, immersive, and full of that raw sound system spirit. Young Kulcha fits naturally into that tradition while bringing his own voice to it.
