Though she might have flown under the radar in reggae circles, Marseille’s Siska is a veteran of the music scene. Her career spans from her early involvement with afro-reggae band Axxam and Ras Jahby’s Zion Train Imperial, to leading Ka & Co. As the voice of Watcha Clan for 15 years, she toured extensively and released five albums. Since her solo debut in 2015, Siska’s sound leaned towards trip-hop and future soul. Following a personal loss in 2021, she returned to her reggae foundations, leading to her recent collaboration with Prince Fatty on the album Holdin’ The Vibe. This 11-track release on VLB Recordings features solo efforts as well as notable collaborations with guests such as Horseman, Karigan, Earl Sixteen, Pat Kalla, and Shniece McMenamin.
