Rastafarian Empress Nana EQ is ready for “A St. Mary Mi Come From.”

This annual show is the brainchild of veteran international reggae artiste Capleton aka “The Fireman.”

The place to be is Grays Inn Sports Complex in St. Mary.

The highly Rastafarian-based showcase features a galaxy of stars including Louie Culture, Frisco Kid, Valiant, Jah Thunder and Nana EQ.

The recent launch of the show at Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, gave a glimpse of the caliber of performance expected tonight (August 5, 2024).

According to Nana EQ, “A St. Mary Mi Come From show is one on which I had performed several times. It is such a great event. Respect to Capleton.”

“I really love that show because I get to do media interviews which increase my presence, both local and abroad.”

“The show took a break when the pandemic (COVID-19) put off several events,” she adds.

This time she is promising some old and fresh lyrics. “I will be doing ‘Talk’, a song which will definitely be a bestseller at the show.”

To add more flavour to her performance Nana EQ will also be giving them ‘Meaness’, which teaches young girls to have dignity.

Nana EQ is preparing to shoot the video for ‘Talk’. Meanwhile, her catalogue of songs includes ‘Black Woman’, ‘Wave Them’ and ‘Who Colt The Game’, an original of Bob Marley.

“All of my songs are getting much love in parts of Africa, including Kenya, Ghana and Uganda,” she shares.
