West Kingston-born Marcia Griffiths, often referred to as the Queen of Reggae, has recently released her seventeenth studio album entitled Golden, a collaboration with Kemisphere Music and Donsome Records. It’s a collection of eleven tracks, sometimes seamlessly blending elements of reggae with other genres such as worldbeat, featuring deep and intimate messages, as well as lighter themes. On Golden, Marcia Griffiths surrounds herself with several collaborators including Turbulence, The Kemist, Nyanda, and African superstar Tiken Jah Fakoly.
