JP Backhouse’s newest endeavor, the 8-track EP SpaceHall Vol. 1, showcases the work of Amsterdam-based producer and musician Jimmy Bakhuis, known as JP Backhouse, originally from Curacao, alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Richie Loop. Loop, a seasoned and versatile performer, gained prominence in 2010 with his hit single My Cupp.

JP Backhouse’s innovative dancehall beats combined with Richie Loop’s signature catchy hooks and flows have resulted in an EP packed phat with infectious dancefloor fillers. In addition to the music, this project has another fascinating aspect. It’s a sci-fi adventure where every track on Spotify connects to a comic book page, forming the initial installment of many future SpaceHalll escapades that will distribute dancehall throughout the universe.
