Intence, the popular dancehall artist, has started off the year 2024 with his latest single, Year Of Gear, which is also the second track from his highly anticipated debut album, Voyage. The single has been released as a music video, and is also available for download and streaming on various digital platforms. In the music video, Intence allocates a portion of his video budget to assist underprivileged individuals in Kingston, Jamaica.

The single, Year Of Gear, was produced by Nuh Brakes Recordz, featuring a riddim created by MXSSIVH and Blacklist Beatz. It maintains the introspective and melancholic tone of the album’s lead single, Lesson, which was unveiled in October 2023. Intence uses his latest track to contemplate the blessings of another year while expressing his grief over the people he has lost along his journey.
