Stingray Records just dropped a heavy gift for the Gregory Isaacs fans. On February 13, 2026, the London-based label released Gregory Isaacs @ Stingray Records. This isn’t just another recycled compilation of hits you already own. Instead, we’re getting an EP featuring five previously unreleased tracks alongside War A Gwaan, his poignant commentary on the Iraq war. These tunes sat in the archives for years after Gregory voiced them at Stingray’s London HQ, and finally, we get to hear the full session.

The production comes straight from the McLeod brothers, Carlton and Raymond. They’ve always been masters at capturing that authentic Jamaican yard sound right in the heart of the UK. These tracks remind us why Gregory was the ultimate stylist, laying those effortless, relaxed vocals over rock-solid riddims. It’s that classic Stingray recipe we’ve loved for decades. Tuff Gong International is handling the worldwide distribution, so you can find it on all major streaming platforms right now. Word is a limited vinyl run is coming soon for the selectors.

Gregory Isaacs remains one of the most prolific figures in the history of the music. He founded the African Museum label in 1973 with Errol Dunkley to maintain his independence. Known globally as the Cool Ruler, he bridged the gap between rugged dancehall vibes and smooth lovers rock like nobody else could. His 1982 album Night Nurse turned him into a mainstream star, recorded at Tuff Gong’s studio in Kingston. Even when his health declined, his phrasing stayed impeccable. He was a true titan who recorded thousands of tracks across his career. This release proves his voice still carries that timeless soul.
