Fully Bright gets a straight A
The Fully Bright team, headed by Dr. Garth McDonald, walked away with a resounding straight A from the Duhaney Park Primary School family, last Friday, April 12. 2024.
The event, which coincided with the school’s Career Day, was organised by Guidance Councillor Ms. Ann-Marie Curtis who invited the Fully Bright team to empower the students through speech and entertainment.
“You guys shocked me! You are so great. This school tour is so different from others. Everyone left a message and you connected so well with students, and skillfully incorporated Duhaney Park Primary in your songs.” Dr. McDonald’s praise for the institution was more than a mouthful.
“We have been to over 40 schools spanning five parishes, and so far this is one of the cleanest atmospheres,” he shares.
Principal Mrs. Coleen-Reid Grant, decked in a two-piece outfit, shone as she delivered the opening remarks encouraging students to use career day as an opportunity to strive for excellence in whatever they do.

Profit Revelation was at his peak with ‘Crime Stop’, a song that stressed the importance of keeping the peace.
Kryme Rate was quick to spell his name, adding his vision for a crime-free Jamaica free of killings.
Nana EQ chose a perfect song titled ‘Talk’ (to your parents) which speaks about the molestation of children and encourages the audience to speak out when they are inappropriately touched by any adult.
Kyoni recording artiste Sosuh Bonez did one of his most promising songs, ‘Living It Up’ which left students wanting more.
Headliner Black-Er spoke about the importance of education and that students should be diligent and do their best.
Several students were awarded Fully Bright buttons and certificates and a Fully Bright bag was presented by Black-Er to a student for his outstanding judge costume.
