Dubbin’ Darryl – Textures EP
NEW RELEASE
It is widely recognized that reggae music has spread globally, so it’s not uncommon that reggae releases are also coming from Down Under. Following the release of The Springtones’ reggae version of Kings Go Forth’s cult hit High On Your Love and Dad Bod Dub’s rendition of the Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams, Australian dub label Cry No More Recordings now presents Dubbin’ Darryl’s debut EP Textures.
The EP, a four-track psychedelic journey into dubwise riddims infused with cool jazzy vibes, showcases Dubbin’ Darryl delving deep into a world of reverberant echoes, infectious percussion, and groovy guiro beats. Drawing inspiration from the funkier side of instrumental reggae, he puts his own spin on keys, organ, and melodica to create a captivating musical experience.
