Danny English passed away
Dancehall artist Danny English died on Thursday evening, January 23, 2025, at the Kingston Public Hospital in Jamaica. He was 54 years old. Starting his career in 1995, Danny is widely recognized for his distinctive gravelly voice on the 2002 hit Party Time, performed over the Steven ‘Lenky’ Marsden-produced Diwali riddim alongside fellow artist Egg Nog. Family sources report that English passed away after a struggle with diabetes.
