Aotearoa roots reggae favourites Corrella return with their new single Not I. Led by a commanding vocal performance from Ngawai Campbell, the voice of their hit track How Will I Know, Not I is a defiant anthem of resistance, resilience and standing strong in the face of pressure. Built around the rallying cry Not I, the track speaks to a world shaped by broken systems, false promises and the need to hold your ground when everything around you feels unstable.

Opening with the striking line, “It’s better to die on your feet than to live on your knees,” ‘Not I’ immediately sets its tone. Across urgent verses and a powerful, chant-like chorus, Corrella deliver a message of strength and refusal – refusing to bow, refusing to be silenced, and refusing to give in when the world is falling.
