Fatal Crash Claims Life of Motorcyclist in Westmoreland ORANGE HILL, WESTMORELAND — A motorcyclist lost his life following a tragic collision along Hopewell main road in Orange Hill, Westmoreland, on Friday morning. The incident has prompted police to warn a motorist from Westmoreland for prosecution. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Sherald Arthurs, a resident of Revival District in Little London, Westmoreland. Reports indicate that around 6:00 a.m., Arthurs was riding his motorcycle along Hopewell main road with a female passenger. A black Toyota Harrier traveling in the opposite direction reportedly lost control, veering into the path of Arthurs’ motorcycle. The collision between the motorcycle and the Harrier resulted in both Arthurs and his passenger sustaining serious head and body injuries. Emergency services rushed them to Savanna-la-Mar Hospital, where Arthurs was tragically pronounced dead. The female passenger is currently being treated and remains in serious condition. The driver of the Toyota Harrier faces legal consequences as investigations into the incident continue.
