Asce-aa-Spade’s million ‘House Party’ views
Asce-aa-Spade is celebrating what he describes as, “House Party million dollar views on YouTube.”
‘House Party’ featuring Skirdle Sparta, the son of Tommy Lee Sparta, is set to create a Tsunami effect in dancehall circles.
“This song is hot. It’s so hot that it’s on fire for dancehall fans. And, we have barely struck the first promotional match.”
“We put it (song) out there and people just like it for more than one reason. And, you know, that’s what every dancehall artist wants. Attention, which is such a great part of success.”
Asce-aa-Spade feels that ‘House Party’ has the stamina to compete with the best songs of 2024 and beyond.”
“We now predict that by year-end, ‘House Party’ will accumulate another half a million views. And, with increased promotion, it will ultimately climb to a few million more views in 2025.”
“The story of this phenomenal song began when I came to Jamaica to shoot a video for my single, ‘Red Light-Green Light’, released in November 2021.
“I got the opportunity to meet Tommy Lee Sparta’s producer, Dre-Swade. It was at that time that the idea of doing a collaboration befitting an international hit came up, and Tommy Lee’s son came into the picture.”
“The producer felt that the two energy with unique sounds could work well beyond expectation.”
“The idea was that Skirdle Sparta would feature one verse, but after I returned to the United States, sent him the riddim, and listened to his part it was way past expectation.”
Asce-aa-Spade and Skirdle shared the chorus of the song giving listeners a colourful flavour of rustic but smooth landscape befitting a Shaggy ‘It Wasn’t Me’ featuring Rik Rok.
“I must commend Tommy Lee Sparta, who during the course of the recording recommended a number of initiatives including the vocal range which enhances the quality of delivery.”
“There were three important dynamics pulling the weight which heavily contributed to the quality and success of the song.”
“The title ‘House Party’ is a household name. House Party is a celebration with friends. It’s one with lots of fun, girls, and music. And, I wanted to endorse the idea of House Party more to my friends in Jamaica.”
Asce-aa-Spade hopes to perform the song at a number of reggae festivals including Reggae Sumfest.
