It’s more than getting better; it’s just staying great. That’s the feeling in Jamaica each time the Fully Bright team turns up at a school. And it doesn’t matter if the school is a kindergarten or high school.

Dr. Garth McDonald and his Fully Bright team, which includes Wassdemm and Anna K, is the centre of attention.

One recent event which showed their class was the Fully Bright Prize Giving Exercise for grades 9, Excelsior High School.

Yes, the teacher who invited the team named the event, Fully Bright Prize Giving. That’s how it is when an initiative is fully recognized.

It is hard not to mention Dr. McDonald’s skills in copping students’ attention. An excerpt of his motivation speech reads as follows:

“As you navigate your high school years and step into the realms of adulthood, you will encounter numerous challenges, distractions and uncertainties. It is during these times that your focus becomes paramount. Focus is the key that unlocks the door to schievement. It allows you to channel your energy and abilities towards your dreams and goals. Remember, you are the captain of your ship and your focus determines the direction in which your ship sail…”

Several students received Fully Bright certificates. They included Deeyana Damage, Rihanna Panton, Tousane Rodney, Kymolee Shaw, Rahmone Burnett, Jayden Newman, Ackeef Nugent, Zagari Scott, Devonte Brown, and Nelmar Walker.
