A’Legends among the greats on US iTunes Charts
A’Legends, who promised her father she would fulfill his wish of becoming a star, is on that journey to success.
The Philadelphia-based fashion designer turned record producer’s first-class ‘Bankx Riddim’ entered the US iTunes charts at number 9 on March 1, 2024.
It is not often that a first-time female record producer has made it to the top 10, a domain nominated, in this case, by the Marleys, the undisputed champions of reggae charts.
The win for A’legends, born Jenelle Alexia, has not dampened her mood of celebrating.
“I am honoured to be among the Marley’s, a group for which I have the uttermost respect. I am not even looking at my position, but the champion of all champions, who has given me that great moment to realize my full potential.”
“I usually tell myself that whatever I do, do so with all my might, win or lose. This time I have won and this will only motivate me to accomplish greater things in life.”
“This is teamwork which began with the various artistes who never hesitate to be on this riddim. They took time from their busy schedules to write, record, and have their songs mastered.”
To my thousands of fans, continue to support my works and give A’Legends more opportunities to create that platform for more females to be confident in themselves.”
The 10-track riddim is produced by A’Legends for her A’Legends production, and distributed by OneRPM.
