Following the release of his four-track EP The Grand Designer, Adrian Sherwood returns with the remarkably reflective and introverted The Collapse Of Everything, his first solo album in over a decade and just the fourth in his over 45-year-long music career. Carefully crafted and sonically bold, this new full-length project finds Sherwood stepping out from behind the mixing desk to fully embrace the spotlight, expanding his signature sound into uncharted territory. Though Keith LeBlanc and Mark Stewart have sadly passed on, their spirit lingers throughout the album, woven subtly into its sonic fabric, a quiet tribute to their enduring influence on Sherwood’s music. Other musicians who contributed to this project include Doug Wimbish, Cyrus Richards, Horseman, Brian Eno, Peter Harris, and Jazzwad. The album arrives with four vibrant animated music videos created by artist Peter Harris and animator Katie King. The Collapse Of Everything, released under Sherwood’s On-U Sound imprint, is available on LP, CD, digital download, and all major streaming platforms.
