Summer is here and what an exciting start it has been. Following the exciting events as part of Caribbean American Heritage Month, July is continuing to build on the trend. This month will see a number of events to commemorate the 250th anniversary celebration of the founding of the U.S. (America250).

The Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) is taking part in the annual BAAND Together Dance Festival, held at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in NYC.
The festival will run from July 28 to August 1, reuniting five of NYC’s most iconic dance companies on one stage. The festival features a collaborative, shared program celebrating artistry and community. Dance Theatre of Harlem performs alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispánico, and New York City Ballet. Tickets for the festival are generally pay-what-you-wish (or choose-what-you-pay), making world-class dance accessible to all.
