The collaboration between Jamaican trombone player Vin Gordon, also known as Don D Junior, and the Dubsetters, the house band of independent record label Dub & Sound International in Turku, Finland, has resulted in the creation of Digging The Vibes. This instrumental track has been released in three different versions. The first version is a straightforward instrumental that combines Vin Gordon’s lively horn patterns with a bass-driven Dubsetters riddim. The second version, Vibes Dub, is a more echo-laden piece. Lastly, Vibes Riddim adds a fresh perspective to the original. Originally available on download and streaming platforms, Digging The Vibes will be released on 12″ vinyl in April 2024.
