Rastafarian singer Mackie Conscious’ song ‘Brighter Day’, featuring international reggae star, Luciano, has got a major boost. Having received rave reviews in several countries, including the US and Africa, the song is the title of popular CD Banging’s latest 50-track mixtape, circulating worldwide.

According to Mackie Conscious, “this certainly did not come as a surprise. I have been doing great music for over two decades. It’s just that I am now getting the recognition I deserve.”

“To have my track, ‘Brighter Day’, endorsing a 50-track mixtape is amazing. To have the mixtape named after ‘Brighter Day’ goes to show how powerful that song is to the producer and his fans.”

“The song was done to counteract all the negatives throughout the world and the hope that we will all see a Brighter Day. And this goes for everyone, including those who are experiencing poverty, discrimination, and other injustices.”

Meanwhile, CD Banging, given name Omar McNab, a dancehall artiste/selector and promoter, expressed that, “the song has a real good message. It is a motto for striving to 2024 and beyond. ‘Brighter Day’ is a song for all those who have seen dark days in their lives, and the dream that these days will disappear.”

“This 50-track mixtape has other great songs, including Agent Sasco’s ‘Fade Away’ feat. Romain Virgo. There is also Ghost with five songs including ‘Knife’ and Singing Melody’s ‘Want You Back’.

The mix tape was released in the first week of December 2023.
