Fruits Records presents Roots Architects’ new single, Memories Of Old, which follows up their 2019 single 1000 Light Years. It’s part of a full instrumental album, scheduled for release in April 2024. Recorded in Kingston in 2017, Memories Of Old is a rocksteady piece featuring Ernest Ranglin (guitar) and Tyrone Downie (organ) on solos, accompanied by Fil Callender (drums), Jackie Jackson (bass), Bo Pee Bowen (guitar), Bongo Joe (kette), Vin Gordon (trombone), Glen DaCosta (saxophone), Lew Chang (flute), and Sting Wray (trumpet). Some of the greatest Jamaican foundation musicians playing together like back in the days!
