Jamaican reggae singer Inner Voice is giving thanks to the Almighty for his single ‘Beautiful Day’ becoming a number one song. This is one of seven tracks on the various artistes compilation album ‘Mankind Riddim’.

The song, featuring international reggae act Capleton, had more than enough sparks to drive it full speed to the top of Richie B’s Jamaica Singles Reggae Charts.

“I am so grateful to my fans all over the world. To God, who has given me the talent to sing. It all started in church and school from a very tender age, with the inspiration from my mom.”

In addition, Inner Voice is showering praises to his producers, Donroy and Savoy Donaldson, Donroy Muziq, and his team.

According to Inner Voice, “I am dedicating this song to the world. It is an inspiration to everyone who desires peace and unity in their lives. Follow our daily newscast and one will notice how many people, including children, are murdered.”

“For youths, I expect this song to uplift them. The Bible teaches us to be careful of our thoughts because these will shape the very way we live. So, as musicians, we need to teach our youths all that will make them a better person in life.”

“This song was destined to be a hit. I got the riddim, composed by the creative DJ Wanted for the Muziq label. I did my part, including the chorus, and Capleton came in with his two verses.”

“Klarity, the studio engineer where it was mixed and mastered, said the song was great the moment he heard the finished product. Now, I am looking at the bigger picture in 2024. Once the album is submitted, we are hoping for, not only a Grammy Consideration, but Grammy Nomination.”

“I have been doing my promotion on Facebook and other platforms, in addition to the producer’s marketing strategies.”

Inner Voice, born Colin Russell, grew up in Clarkes Town, Trelawny. “I began music in the church and at school where I would entertain both adults and children,” he shared.

Inner Voice recorded his first two songs, ‘Fat Gal’, and ‘Zoom’, both on Donroy Virgo Promotion. His moniker then was Singing Shadow. He has since recorded some 20 songs, including, ‘Favourites’, ‘Slow Down’, ‘Closer’, ‘Blood Spilling’, ‘Love And Unity’, and ‘Take Me’.
