American-born Jenelle “A’Legends” Alexia is always ready to add even a bit of starlight to her pomp and glamour.

This was her magic touch as she made her debut at the recent Caribbean Music Awards show at Kings Theatre, Brooklyn, New York, on August 31, 2023.

It was a gala affair with the who is to be known in music; from host Wyclef Jean, the smooth rich vocals of Beres Hammond and Romain Virgo to the rich outfit worn by Vershon and the glorious Jada Kingdom and everpresent Spice.

A’Legends went all out, it seems, to put her shapely figure in a colourful garb too rich to miss the eyes of anyone who loves fashion as much as music.

It was an A’Legends design with her signature brand flashed all over her brown, beige, and orange outfit.

As she passed, her escort apparently slowed his movement so the cameras could have as many photos to flash around. To many, she reminded them of Lady Diana, the queen in waiting.

It took her an hour and fifteen minutes from the hotel to the venue due to the heavy traffic so close that one could shake hands with another passenger traveling behind.

Outside the venue were hosts scrolling through the guest list; security personnel positioning vehicles, and cameras rolling in all directions as celebrities made their final statement on the fashion runway.

One would have a wow moment just viewing the interior of the theatre with a glossy gold and red background, added to flashing lights that dawn on its square-shaped stage.

Several front rows occupied celebrities, including presenters and performers.

The tribute to Beres, Hammond by Romain Virgo, Kranium, and Toni-Ann Singh was the moment of the night. The set was refreshing and passionate.

Ding Dong along with the Ravers Clavers dancers gave a real ding dong performance.

Some of those who shared the awards were Dexta Daps, Ding Dong, Spice, Buju Banton, and Masicka.

The Star girl Jenelle says Ding Dong was her wow moment. “He was high energy, giving a full package.”

Vershon sported black leather pants, short sleeve button leather shirt, leather cap with Gucci brown and black uppers which reportedly cost a quarter million Jamaican dollars. He presented the award for Best New Reggae artiste.
