On Samory I’s latest release, titled Wrath, the Jamaican roots reggae artist is joined by Grammy award-winner Kabaka Pyramid and Capleton. This single follows the release of two tracks in November 2022, namely Blood In The Streets and the recently dropped Crown. The release of Wrath also marks the announcement of Samory I’s solo debut album, Strength, which is set to be released on November 3, 2023, through Overstand Entertainment/Easy Star Records.

In Wrath, Samory I’s passionate words about truth and justice are delivered over a gritty riddim created by Winta James. It has a soft yet powerful tone that resembles the heavy drums often found in ’90s New York hip-hop. The accompanying music video, directed by 300K, showcases performances by all three artists, while scenes of street justice play out against corrupt law enforcement.
