Anthony Cruz docks at Number One
Cruz’s ‘Under The Covers’ 18-track album, launched just about eight weeks ago, has been getting good feedback including the Caribbean and North American region.
‘Under The Covers’ is now enjoying Number One, six glorious weeks on the South Florida Reggae Album charts. Then, grabbed the Number One position on the highly favoured Richie B Jamaica Music Countdown Charts, published weekly on the Reggae-Vibes site.
If one is shortsighted not to have heard anything about Richard “Richie B” Burgess, you need to get a fact sheet about this veteran.
In terms of radio, Richie B continues to break his own records. He has not only mastered the art of broadcasting but has unearthed and exposed so many young talents, becoming international acts.
So, if you are nowhere near his charts, check yourself.
“There is no album like, ‘Under The Covers’, and this is the feeling of selectors, producers, promoters, and just about everyone in the music industry.”
“Most of the top producers on this album include the best in Jamaica. And, I am talking of Donovan Germain from Penthouse, Norman “Bulpus” Bryan from Tuff Gong, Big A from IRIE FM, Tads International, and Mark “Tall T” Hosang. These producers are well-known with hits under their belt. The album is music for all the ears and years”.
Cruz is confident that ‘Under The Covers’ will hit other charts, including the Billboard charts.
He is gearing up for IRIE FM’s Marcus Garvey celebrations in August. And this, he says, will be one great moment to get Under The Covers with his fans.
