In The Mood is a six-track collaborative EP from Hopeton Lindo and Fiona. The project includes Guilty and In Your Eyes, two songs that topped charts in New York and South Florida. Hopeton handled production on four of the six tracks through his Irie Pen Records label. The remaining two, In Your Eyes and the title track In The Mood, were both written by Lindo and produced by Taxi/One Pop Records. And then there are the covers. The EP gives us a smooth, soulful take on You Don’t Have To Be A Star, the Billy Davis Jr. and Marilyn McCoo classic, plus a sweet lovers rock version of Yes I’m Ready, a song that first became known through Barbara Mason.
