Beh Beh Paparazzi scouts Macka Diamond for UK show
Jamaican-born Beh Beh Paparazzi, now living in the UK, is hoping to stage Macka Diamond for his first major ‘Pink And White’ show set for May 2025.
Plans are in place to have the ‘Hoola Hoop’ sensation alongside Beh Beh Paparazzi, a household name in Birmingham UK.
The ‘Bun Him’ artiste recently teamed up with Derrick Morgan cementing her position in dancehall with a controversial ‘What Can Go So’ now surfing towards 1 million views.
Beh Beh Paparazzi, a deejay and record producer, who first staged the ‘Dye Dye’ girl in 2012, says, “Macka Diamond is hot like ten firesides. She has a song heading for a million views in less than a month. That’s something to watch in dancehall stream. If the pattern continues we may have to brace for a category one hit.”
“Two conditions are working in her favour. Firstly, this is the festive mood in which people are seeking something new and fresh. Secondly, it is the silly season for ‘passa passa’ or controversy, and Derrick fits the script perfectly.”
Beh Beh Paparazzi has earned respect for staging ‘MoBay Link-up’, one of the biggest local shows in the UK. This features smashing dancehall juggling.
There is also a ‘Pink and White Affair’ which, in addition to good music, features a cut-above fashion.
“Music lovers are eager to see Macka Diamond. It has been more than 10 years since she has performed live here and I have some real good music I want to unleash myself,” he adds.
Beh Beh Paparazzi will definitely target as many charts come 2025. “People love my music, but there is always room for improvement, so I will definitely be moving in that direction.”
He is known for songs such as, ‘Roll So Hard’, ‘Long Chain’, and ‘Justice’. He is the producer of ‘A Wi Say Dancehall’, a sensational EP now available on all digital streaming and download platforms.
