Beh Beh Paparazzi has raised many eyebrows, performing with international acts such as Dawn Penn, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Spice, Queen Ifrica, Alkaline, Tommy Lee Sparta, Teejay, Tarrus Riley, and Macka Diamond.

The Jamaican-born, UK-based songwriter, deejay, and producer started his illustrious showdown in 2005.

“My first stage show had Queen Ifrica and Tarrus Riley as two of the main acts. This was at The Q Night Club in Birmingham. It was a Saturday night and I toasted in the show.”

“My set was about ten minutes where I prayed for peace and harmony which I bestowed on those who attended. I received a very warm response at the end of the show which was about 2:00 in the morning.”

Beh Beh also recalled sharing the stage with Busy Signal at Hartlands Night Club, which is now closed. “I did a song titled ‘Hot’ one of my first songs.”

“Big names like Spice are among the rich mix of dancehall artistes I continue to share the stage.”

“I performed ‘Roll Out’, a combination with Bramma, produced by Dane Ray. That song gave me my first breakthrough.”

“The most memorable show was with Dawn Penn at Liverpool Night Club. She was on set when she called me on. I did three songs: ‘Roll Out’, ‘Turn Up The Swagger’ and ‘Send A Money’.

“The last show I did had Valiant and Stark Ashley, based in the United States. This show was held in Leicester.”

He has also opened for Ghanian Billboard artiste Stonebwoy in Birmingham.

Beh Beh Paparazzi, born Kurt McFarlane, says a few of these shows were promotional, but this has allowed him to craft his way into the dancehall mainstream.

“What is missing is the cash. I feel the response; fans love me and I am working my way up to the top to get a slice of the pie. By this, it means promoters will have to pay more for my performance.”

“‘Roll Out’ is now my biggest song which I will keep promoting. I will be concentrating on a few more new tracks and intense marketing and promotion as I continue working with the Lamar Music Group.”
