Record producer Dub Chemist deals with reality, hence he is not in the limelight for sugar-coating dreadful situations.

On Friday, October 25, 2024, Dub Chemist released ‘Dreadful Situation Juggling’, consisting of nine deserving tracks.

“These tracks surround social issues,” he says without a mask in his voice.

“Hypocrisy, disloyalty, poverty, lack of health, and education are some of the issues explored in the songs.”

“These are issues people experience all over the world. Issues which must not be swept under the carpet.”

“I thought about this project some three months ago, which is about July 2024. I felt so enthused that I actually penned two of the songs. The first being Magano’s ‘Five-Star Liar’, and Tinga Stewart’s ‘They Don’t Know’.”

Dub Chemist adds that “recording was not a teething process. The artistes are people I had done projects with before. For example, I have known Half Pint, who contributed ‘Spread Your Bed’, well over twenty years.”

“Completing the riddim set is Anthony Cruz’s ‘Say My Name’ with Rasta Blacspade’s ‘Rastafari, The Savior’.”

“In addition, there is Linval Thompson’s ‘Fuss and Fight’, Carlton Livingston’s ‘Ghetto Risto’. Terry Ganzie’s ‘More War’, and Mikey General’s ‘Juggle Wi A Juggle’.”

Dub Chemist explains that “the riddim is owned by Chemist.”

“My anticipation for this project is very positive. I have been extending my visibility far and wide with projects in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.”

‘Dreadful Situation Juggling’ is Dub Chemist’s fifth project for the year. The others are the seven-track ‘Royal Plus Riddim’, Rasta Blacspade’s ‘I Love You’ EP, the ‘Satta Massagana Remix Riddim’, and the ‘Baltimore Project’, created by Anthony Cruz with five solid tracks.
