Eyes Open marks the official debut album of the emerging Stuttgart, Germany-based roots reggae and dub outfit, Dubarise. This self-produced project features 12 tracks and was recorded in Germany over the span of a week after lead singer Florian Görsch had embarked on a journey for self-reflection and a respite from societal norms in the previous year. During this time, he began writing lyrics and laid the foundation for the band’s dub album. The 12 tracks include 10 vocal pieces and 2 dub versions, showcasing traditional roots reggae with rich bass lines, powerful drums, dub effects, and captivating saxophone solos.
