Freddie McKay’s fourth album, first released in 1979, has been reissued. The LP includes a mix of original songs and covers, with Ossie Hibbert’s production work relying on popular riddims of the time. The album showcases a seamless blend of classic reggae sound with subtle dub elements, featuring skilled musicians playing in the ‘rockers’ style of the ’70s. Covers of well-known classic songs are paired with original own songs, while four dub versions are included as well.
