Sanity A Bornstar
One look at Sanity Bornstar and one could easily remember the song, “Every Nigger Is A Star.” This is an original song by the smooth, silky, cotton-laced voice of Jamaican Boris Gardiner.
Now, Nigerian-born Sanity Bornstar is proving that every nigger is truly a star.
His debut single ‘Burantashi’ released on September 14, 2023, recently made it on the top 20 US sales-driven iTunes chart along with some of the giants in reggae land, including Bob Marley.
“The world knows once you are anywhere close to the legendary Marley, you are a star. And, I want to tell the world, look out for Sanity Bornstar!” He describes his song as “Sweet, sexy, and one which both sexes will love.”
In an interview with Reggae Vibes, Sanity Bornstar, born Ofugocho Philip Aboje, says, “We Africans are finding Afrobeat and reggae fusion to be a great combination. My music is smooth, exotic with an R&B Afrobeat twist that will resonate with the world.”
Michael “Beatbooper” Hudgins expressed that “Sanity Bornstar has great talent. He will definitely make it. I’m also hoping to combine his talent with that of Justin Bieber.”
Sanity Bornstar began making sounds for music as early as age 11. “It was mere love, not anything serious.”
“I see myself becoming a global star with lots of awards and achieving my goals with lots of rewards.”
His favourite artiste is 2 Face Idibia, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist known for his solo debut album, ‘Face 2 Face’.
His song, ‘Burantashi’, is on all digital platforms, including Spotify.
