Epixode & Stonebwoy ‘Jehovah’: A Must Watch Video
In a world where the love of vanity is so dominant, many are guilty of forgetting the Creator. This is not the case for Ghanaian-born Epixode and Stonebwoy. The two have joined their unique talent into one big single titled “Jehovah.”
Epixode, born Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, is a reggae dancehall recording artiste, creative director, and fine arts painter from Ghana. His mother, a veteran of Ghanaian traditional music, influenced his music career.
Stonebwoy, given the name Livingstone Etse Satekla, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall, and reggae musician. He is the CEO of Burniton Music Group; winning the Best International Act in the Africa Category at the 2015 BET awards.
Jehovah was the name used to reveal God, as the true supreme one.
In the video, Stonebwoy and Epixode pose near a luxurious car which represents success. But, they like Africans, do not forget their past when poverty plagued did not afford them with more than a pair of shoes.
Michael “Beatbopper” Hudgins, executive producer of the ‘Just For Peace’ album on which the song appears, has much to say in a few words.
“Epixode and Stonebwoy are two great artistes. They have achieved much in the music area. In fact, they can be justly considered as heavyweights. I was immediately drawn to their song ‘Jehovah’ for more than one reason. We need to have communication with God because this Jehovah is so powerful. And, we see this manifesting daily in our lives.”
“People are drawn to churches because they believe in Jehovah’s words. He is the only redeemer of our souls, that allows us to live forever.
“Stonebwoy and Epixode were selected because of their powerful lyrics and what they believe in which connects with the teachings of the Bible. It is amazing how both artistes can transform events into a few words. And these words are all about transforming lives.”
“The music video cements and enhances everything I have said about the value of the song, which is giving God thanks. I am encouraging everyone to embrace Jehovah and make the video a million views which now stands at some 156,000 views.”
